About the position

Literacy Inc. (LINC) is seeking a part-time Graphic Designer/Production Assistant to join its Communications & Development team. This role is focused on enhancing the visibility of LINC's initiatives through the creation of various print and digital materials aimed at supporting fundraising efforts and program engagement. The position requires a blend of graphic design and production skills, with an emphasis on meeting production specifications and deadlines while ensuring alignment with the organization's brand identity.

Responsibilities

• Create and promote external communications to support fundraising efforts.
• Execute a range of print and digital creative products, including flyers, presentations, one-pagers, reports, and web graphics.
• Ensure products align with brand identity and meet production specifications and deadlines.
• Prepare designs and files for both print and digital delivery.
• Support the communications team with requests from all departments.
• Provide on-site and virtual event support, including photography and video duties.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in graphic design, production, or web design.
• High proficiency in Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Intermediate use of Adobe Premiere and familiarity with Adobe After Effects and iMovie.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and task management abilities.
• Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.

Nice-to-haves

• Writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Conversational familiarity with Spanish and experience with multilingual layouts.
• Experience in a non-profit environment.
• Knowledge of Salesforce for digital campaigns.
