About the position

FASTSIGNS #69905 is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer/Production Specialist to create and modify graphics for various media. The role involves working with customer designs, ensuring accuracy in output, and maintaining a library of logos. The ideal candidate will have experience in graphic design and proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, with a focus on producing high-quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Create computer-generated full-color graphics and/or vinyl output for printing and mounting.
• Complete or modify designs from customer drawings or files for output to media.
• Determine size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy, selecting style and size of type based on available space and production requirements.
• Inspect jobs for accuracy before sending them to output.
• Ensure correct material is used for each job and that output device settings are accurate.
• Maintain customer logo library and convert graphic files.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of graphic design experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator.
• Ability to prioritize jobs, multi-task, and work autonomously.
• Ability to work under pressure to output high volume, high-quality work.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience installing a variety of signs and graphics preferred but not required.
• Proficiency using hand and power tools.
