About the position

The Graphic Designer/Production role at Big Frog involves creating custom designs for a variety of apparel and merchandise, focusing on customer satisfaction and collaboration. The position requires proficiency in graphic design software and a strong customer service orientation, as employees will work directly with clients to bring their design ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers creating designs that they love
• Integrate designs onto Big Frog templates and print them
• Provide customers information about our product and service offerings
• Use the Big Frog POS (point of sale) system to manage customer transactions
• Enthusiastically greet customers in a timely manner, answer the phones professionally, and respond to customer emails
• Maintain store appearance and cleanliness
• Manage incoming inventory: unpacking boxes, checking packing slips, folding and stocking shelves

Requirements

• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
• Basic understanding of Color theory and Typography
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members
• Familiarity with CorelDraw is a plus
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new design tools and software
• Prior experience in graphic design or production is beneficial

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a retail environment for at least one year
• Savvy about social networking (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)
• Experience as a key holder (open/close) for a small business
