The Graphic Designer/Sign Maker position at our Houston-based signage manufacturing company involves creating and preparing graphic sign packages and production files. Responsibilities

• Prepare Graphic Sign Packages/Shop Drawings
• Prepare Print Ready Files and Production Files for Router/Plotter
• Handle Heavy Materials for Loading Router and Rolls of Media on Printer
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your working area
• Assist in maintaining company equipment
• Accurately keep track of electronic and paper records related to jobs
• Learn new technologies, skills, and techniques to become a better sign-making professional

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a professional designer
• Large-format digital printing experience
• Design creativity
• Expertise in using Adobe Design tool suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
• Experience with RIP software
• Knowledgeable in color management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Experience in sign manufacturing is a plus

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in RIP Software such as Onyx, Cutting Master, Enroute, Aspire
