About the position

The Graphic Designer / Production Specialist position at ASAP Signs and Printing involves creating and assisting in the production of various signage products. The role requires a blend of design skills and practical production assistance, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, able to work both independently and collaboratively, and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Create sign layouts with technical drawings, measurements, and descriptions for manufacturing and installation purposes.
• Assist in the Signs Department by helping sign makers in manufacturing signs.
• Assist in the Printing Department with tasks such as printing, binding, stapling, collating, packaging, shipping, and delivering printed products.
• Conduct site surveys by visiting different locations to take photos and measurements of signs.

Requirements

• Proficiency in design software such as FlexiSign, Corel, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Affinity Designer/Publisher.
• Knowledge of Photoshop.
• Team-oriented attitude with the ability to work independently when required.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in English.
• Ability to proofread documents and make appropriate spelling and grammar corrections in English.
• Flexibility and openness to change, with the ability to adapt to management directives.
• Detail-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
