About the position

The Graphic Designer - Social Media Manager at SilverOnyx is responsible for creating promotional designs and social media marketing campaigns for e-commerce products. This role involves collaboration with other graphic designers, marketing managers, and senior leaders to produce marketing images, packaging, and sales materials, while focusing on data-driven design decisions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and ensure the on-time production of design files for packaging
• Create product listing images for marketing on e-commerce marketplaces
• Collaborate with others to improve website designs and increase sales
• Help produce product videos for placements on e-commerce marketplaces
• Prioritize graphic design production throughput over artistic creativity
• Work closely with the team to promote the 'Hello Lovely!' brand and products
• Embrace proven processes and implement incremental improvements
• Shoulder additional responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience with Canva and social media marketing
• Portfolio of previous graphic design and web projects
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive decision-making
• College degree with relevant work experience
• Ability to modify proven designs rather than create unique ones
• Strong work ethic and can-do attitude

Nice-to-haves

• Experience running conversion rate optimization tests
• Experience selling on Amazon, Walmart, or eBay
• Willingness to learn and acknowledge gaps in knowledge
• More of a scientist than an artist
