About the position

The Graphic Designer for Team Sports Apps at YinzCam is responsible for creating high-fidelity graphic designs tailored for mobile applications used by professional sports teams. This role requires a passion for sports and graphic design, focusing on user-centered design and visual storytelling. The designer will work closely with the YinzCam Content Management System to deliver engaging designs that resonate with sports fans and clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-fidelity sports-centric graphic designs for mobile apps to sports clients.
• Use the YinzCam Content Management System (CMS) to support all clients.
• Learn the YinzCam platform and features to become a subject-matter expert.
• Create multiple mobile 'looks' for clients, including themed-game looks, game-day looks, non-gameday looks, Draft Day looks, Championship looks, and kit-launch looks.

Requirements

• A portfolio of sports-centric designs is a must.
• 3+ years of experience using Figma.
• 3+ years of experience in graphic design and mobile UI/UX, particularly for sports.
• Love of designing for sports, including key milestones in sports such as Draft, free agency, and kit launch.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English, with attention to detail in grammar, spelling, punctuation, vocabulary, and formatting.
• Willingness and ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
• Degree in Graphic Design or equivalent.
