About the position

We are seeking an experienced graphic designer to create a logo and custom typeface for our new media production company. The designer will play a crucial role in defining our brand visually, ensuring that the design reflects our values and creativity. The position allows for virtual work, but in-person collaboration is valued for discussing ideas and progress.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with our team to understand the core values and vision of the company.
• Create multiple logo concepts and refine the chosen direction based on feedback.
• Design a unique, scalable logo that works across various mediums, including digital and print.
• Develop a custom typeface that complements the logo and aligns with the overall aesthetic of the brand.
• Ensure all design elements are cohesive and visually appealing, following the latest design trends while maintaining originality.
• Deliver high-quality final assets, including vector files, typography guidelines, and other brand elements as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a graphic designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing logo and typeface design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or equivalent design software.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively and incorporate feedback into designs.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain design concepts clearly.
• Experience with branding for startups or production companies is a plus.
• A creative and innovative mindset with attention to detail.
