About the position

The Graphic Designer / UI/UX Designer at The Law Offices of Daniel Kim will play a crucial role in shaping the firm's visual identity across various digital platforms. This position requires a creative and experienced individual who can design engaging graphics and user interfaces, ensuring that all designs align with the brand's identity and meet user experience principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop visually appealing designs for web and digital media that align with our brand identity.
• Create intuitive and user-friendly UI/UX designs for our website and digital platforms.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform and improve design decisions.
• Ensure designs are optimized for various devices and screen sizes.
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers and marketers, to ensure consistency and alignment with company objectives.
• Utilize design tools such as Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to produce high-quality work.
• Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and best practices.
• Create animations and motion graphics to enhance digital content (if applicable).

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design and UI/UX experience.
• Proficiency in Figma, Canva, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout design, and user experience principles.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and applying findings to design solutions.
• Ability to create interactive prototypes using tools like Figma.
• Understanding of HTML, CSS, and how they impact design (coding skills not required but a plus).
• Experience designing for multiple devices and screen sizes.
• Familiarity with WCAG and other accessibility guidelines.
• Demonstrated ability to produce original and innovative design solutions.
• Meticulous approach to design with a strong eye for detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with team members across different departments.
• Experience with animation and motion graphics is a plus.
