About the position

Utah Hockey Club is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join their creative team, working under the guidance of the Art Director. This role is pivotal in creating both digital and print-based graphics that represent the Utah Hockey Club and its properties. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, a passion for design, and a keen eye for detail, while staying updated on the latest trends and practices in graphic design. A portfolio showcasing previous work is a mandatory requirement for consideration, as applications without a portfolio will not be reviewed. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for ensuring brand consistency across all materials, understanding the design process, and delivering work in a timely manner. The role requires a collaborative spirit, where the designer must contribute positively to a winning culture and demonstrate respect for teammates. Customer service is paramount, and even if the designer does not interact directly with customers, they must support those who do. Upholding the legal, financial, and moral integrity of the company is essential, as is exemplifying the brand principles of Utah Hockey Club. The designer will also embrace a culture of inclusion and diversity, ensuring that all guests and team members feel welcomed and valued. Additional duties may be assigned as needed, and the designer is expected to communicate effectively, be action-oriented, and plan and align their work with the team's goals. Requirements

• 4-year degree in graphic design or related field
• 3-4 years applied design-related experience, or a body of work that reflects an equivalent experience, including some prior management experience
• Web portfolio demonstrating strong skills in graphic design, branding, layout design, typography, photo editing, and print with attention to detail
• Speed and proficiency with current Adobe Creative Suite on MacOS
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to work well on quick turnarounds and short deadlines
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work nights and weekends
