About the position

The Graphic Designer/Video Editor at Jobson Healthcare Information (JHI) is responsible for creating and designing print and digital materials for various healthcare marketing initiatives. This role involves producing compelling video content and requires a strong understanding of graphic design principles, typography, and layout, as well as proficiency in video editing and motion graphics.

Responsibilities

  • Design print and digital materials, including direct mailings, print advertisements, logos, packaging, signage, and corporate identity pieces.
  • Create and maintain sales support tools.
  • Assist with trade shows preparation and execution as needed.
  • Catalog and file all materials in a logical and easily accessible manner, ensuring they are continuously up to date.
  • Produce compelling and impactful video content for various outputs from concept to delivery.
  • Develop and craft video ideas and narratives that enhance B2B marketing content.
  • Complete all assignments within expected deadlines.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience in the field required.
  • Versed in multiple areas including ads, email blasts, direct mail, web banners, landing pages, and business collateral.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Digital Publishing Suite, and Dreamweaver).
  • Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro for video editing and motion graphics.
  • Experience coordinating project work and interfacing with sales reps, marketing managers, clients, and production staff.
  • Ability to work within established design and identity guidelines.
  • Strong command of typography, color, composition, and hierarchy.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Solid understanding of web design and experience utilizing HTML coding; HTML 5 is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient use of MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

  • Experience in healthcare marketing or related fields.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing strategies.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
