About the position

Join AIR as a Part-Time Graphic Designer in our Technology Solutions team, where we leverage technology to create impactful solutions. This role involves collaborating with a diverse team to design user-centered products, including distance learning materials, websites, and data visualization tools, all aimed at making the world a more equitable place.

Responsibilities

• Develop design concepts and graphics for distance learning products, websites, and web-based products.
• Collaborate with managers, distance learning developers, web developers, and content experts.
• Meet with project directors/managers, project staff, or clients to discuss projects.
• Estimate the time required to complete work and provide quotes.
• Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts.
• Present finalized ideas and concepts to project staff and/or clients.
• Proofread to ensure accuracy and high-quality work.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Adobe Creative Cloud applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, graphic arts, fine arts, or a related field with at least 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• High-level expertise with the Adobe suite of applications (e.g., Adobe Creative Cloud).
• Experience in developing and designing graphics for distance learning products and various media.
