About the position

The Jewish Federation of Southern New Jersey (JFED) is seeking a full-time Graphic Designer to join its Marketing & Communications team. This role focuses on leveraging design skills to promote the organization's mission to the South Jersey Jewish community and its stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience in both traditional and digital design, including website management, and will be a motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities. This position offers opportunities for skill diversification and innovation, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage the JFED brand across both print and digital media.
• Develop and design print and digital media, including invitations, flyers, programs, signs, banners, annual reports, brochures, direct mail solicitations, newspaper ads, and lobby TV screens.
• Manage content on JFED websites as needed; assist with website coding as required.
• Assist with the development of marketing campaigns for JFED events, community outreach, education, and funds development.
• Develop and manage branding for JFED departments and smaller agencies, such as Aleph Home Care and JCRC.

Requirements

• Experience as a professional or volunteer in the graphic design and/or multimedia communications field.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task creatively.
• High proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, email marketing software, video editing software, website content management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Funds development and/or copy-editing experience is a plus.
