About the position

The Graphic Designer position is responsible for planning and coordinating the production of various marketing materials, including newsletters, brochures, and advertisements. This role supports public relations objectives and involves managing print projects while ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and deadlines. The designer will also create graphics for in-house advertising and assist in public relations planning and communication services.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate the production of publications such as newsletters, brochures, and flyers.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of projects to meet public relation objectives.
• Coordinate the design, production, and distribution of employee newsletters and community publications.
• Provide public relation planning, writing, and design coordination for assigned product lines.
• Manage print projects, including obtaining bids and processing paperwork.
• Design and create graphics for the in-house advertising agency and Marketing/Public Relations Department.
• Oversee the design and printing of collateral materials for affiliates as needed.
• Fill in for the Assistant Vice President of Marketing in their absence.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, public relations, communications journalism, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in graphic design, public relations, or communications.
