About the position

Michael Baker International is seeking a Graphic Designer to support multi-disciplinary planning projects primarily for Federal/Military clients, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Space Force, as well as other State and Local Government clients. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience with AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud, providing an opportunity to grow technical skill sets and develop expertise while working directly with stakeholders. The Graphic Designer will support Federal clients across the U.S. and overseas, requiring strong knowledge of AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Cloud, as well as experience with hand-drawing techniques, SketchUp, and other computer-based modeling. The position involves collecting and compiling data in accordance with Department of Defense data standards, with the availability to travel to client sites within the U.S. and overseas. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential for preparing and presenting reports and projects. The candidate must be able to provide deliverables in a timely manner, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and effectively communicate regarding data needs and priorities. This role requires U.S. Citizenship and a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline. With 3-5 years of graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Cloud, AutoCAD, and SketchUp, proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) is also required. Experience with other software, such as the Esri ArcGIS suite, is encouraged. The position requires travel to client sites in the U.S. and overseas, estimated at 25%. Experience working with Federal clients is preferred, and the compensation for this role ranges from $57,569 to $90,671, depending on the experience and expertise of the incoming candidate.

Requirements
