About the position

Our Client is a mechanical, electrical, telecommunications, security, energy conservation and commissioning consulting engineering firm, located in Seattle, Washington. We serve eight-core markets - educational, correctional, civic/municipal, commercial, high-technology, healthcare, retail and mixed-use - spanning the public and private sectors on a local, regional, national and international level. As a trusted advisor to Fortune 100 and 500 global companies and value-based public institutions, the marketing team delivers collateral reflective of the caliber of clients we serve. We work closely with the internal technical teams to translate complex ideas into consumable language, aesthetics, and media for strategic intent. The end product is a well-crafted piece that accentuates the team's strengths and aligns with firm values. As the team's graphic designer, you will be an instrumental contributor to evolving our visual messaging. Working closely with senior leadership, you will influence the array of assets the marketing team produces: brochures that promote business development, presentations that demonstrate expertise, media that educates and informs, and native graphics that distinguish communication aptitude.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media
  • Generate new ideas based upon team input
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for various platforms
  • Create and maintain brand consistency across all design projects
  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and complete tasks according to deadlines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in graphic design
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns

Requirements

  • Solid technical design, layout, and production skills across marketing media (web, social, digital, print)
  • Typography and technical typesetting skills
  • Photography post-production skills
  • Willingness to learn, teach, and communicate across multiple teams within the firm
