Church Pension Group (CPG) is a financial services organization located in Midtown Manhattan, founded in 1917 to provide pension benefits to eligible clergy of the Episcopal Church. Over the years, CPG has expanded its mission to include life and disability insurance, health benefits, property & casualty insurance, and publishing. The Content & Creative Services (CCS) department is responsible for creating compelling communications that support CPG's strategic plan and its three lines of business. This role of Graphic Designer is crucial in both communications and digital design, contributing high-impact visual content for both digital and traditional media. As a Graphic Designer, you will report to the Design and Digital Experience Director and work closely with them to create compelling designs that adhere to brand guidelines and support strategic business goals. You will be expected to assist in designing digital content for various platforms, develop structured documents and presentations, and support the design of traditional media such as brochures and advertisements. Collaboration with marketing and communications teams is essential to ensure that design solutions meet content specifications and project objectives. The position requires effective time management to meet deadlines in a team setting, as well as the ability to adapt designs based on feedback from team members and stakeholders. Regular in-person interaction with colleagues is necessary for relationship building and meaningful collaboration, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.
