As a Graphic Designer at Banc of California, you will be responsible for translating concepts and ideas into visually stunning designs that align with our brand identity and resonate with our target audience. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and content creators, to bring compelling visual solutions to life. Your creative and technical skills will be pivotal in shaping our brand's image and driving engagement. You will perform all duties in accordance with the company's policies and procedures and all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations wherein the company operates. In this position, you will conceptualize and create visually appealing designs for a wide range of digital and print assets, including websites, social media graphics, infographics, banners, brochures, and more. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements, target audience, and key messaging, ensuring that design deliverables effectively communicate the desired message. Staying updated with industry trends, design techniques, and emerging technologies will be essential, as you will implement innovative ideas to enhance design quality and user experience. Maintaining brand consistency and adhering to design guidelines is crucial, ensuring that all visual assets align with our brand's tone, style, and values. You will develop illustrations, icons, and other custom graphics that elevate the overall visual impact of our brand. Additionally, you will optimize designs for different platforms, considering factors like responsiveness, load time, and user interface/user experience (UI/UX) best practices. You will also collaborate with external agencies and vendors as needed, managing the production process and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality design assets. Regular quality checks will be part of your responsibilities to ensure all designs meet our standards and specifications. You will actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute fresh ideas and creative solutions to meet project objectives. The ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and project requirements in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential. You will support the VP, Creative Director on all assigned strategic branding, marketing, and corporate communications initiatives, and create ADA compliant PDFs while performing ADA remediation on existing documents. Attention to detail is paramount, as you will ensure all collateral is delivered without typos and meets high standards of quality. You will also edit and update the company website using WordPress, including creating web graphics and webpages.
