About the position

Heart to Heart Counseling Center is seeking a Graphic Design Manager to create visually appealing graphics for various mediums, including digital and print. This in-person role involves designing social media graphics, book layouts, and collaborating with the marketing team to produce creative visuals that align with campaign goals. The position requires a keen eye for aesthetics, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in design software.

Responsibilities

• Design compelling social media graphics that resonate with our audience.
• Create visually appealing graphics and designs for various mediums, including digital and print.
• Transform word copy into professionally formatted InDesign files for book publishing and brochures.
• Create engaging Book and eBook layouts, ensuring functionality across various digital platforms and physical printouts.
• Develop covers for books, DVDs, and online courses.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to produce creative visuals that align with campaign goals.
• Manage and execute the design process from concept to completion, maintaining brand integrity.
• Oversee the digital publication process, including Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing and uploading onto the website.

Requirements

• 2 years of graphic design experience.
• 1 year of experience with Adobe Creative Suite.
• 2 years of experience with Adobe InDesign.
• Strong graphic design skills, including the ability to conceptualize and execute compelling visual content.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues related to eBook formats and digital distribution.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to handle a wide range of assignments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with digital publishing platforms, especially Amazon, or the capacity to quickly learn and adapt to new software.
• Experience in book layout design and eBook creation.
