The Graphic Designer position is pivotal in supporting project teams by conceptualizing and producing marketing materials for various campaigns, including web, digital, multimedia, print, and more. Under the guidance of the Manager of Marketing Proposals, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for defining requirements, visualizing, and consistently creating high-quality graphics that align with Kraus-Anderson's strategic plan and support project pursuit efforts. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including business development managers, project managers, and technical specialists, to generate creative solutions from concept to completion while ensuring high-quality material is delivered on time.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality marketing materials that conform to strategy and brand standards, including websites, proposals, slide decks, templates, brochures, advertisements, and photography.
  • Develop visually engaging infographics that effectively communicate complex information and data.
  • Quickly develop creative options and solutions from concept to completion for multiple platforms while ensuring timely delivery of quality material.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, maintaining brand voice, aesthetics, and values across all touchpoints.
  • Create illustrations, images, and other designs using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Integrate input from clients and internal team members into the final product.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects with various stakeholders while meeting deadlines.
  • Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams and departments.
  • Communicate and present effectively to leadership-level audiences.
  • Attend internal/external client meetings as needed and support other marketing initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in art, graphics, or a relevant creative field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working on multi-platform marketing projects or 5 years of experience with formal coursework/training.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
  • Strong ability to translate requirements into design and knowledge of current design and marketing trends.
  • Knowledge of print production standards and best practices for social media and web content.
  • Strong project management skills, including prioritizing tasks and managing deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
