About the position

The Graphic Designer position at Medical Mutual of Ohio offers a hybrid work environment, allowing employees to work in-office three days a week and remotely for two days. The position encompasses various levels, from Graphic Designer I to Sr. Graphic Designer, each with increasing responsibilities and expectations regarding design execution and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design team in creating print and digital designs.
  • Edit designs and create small elements of larger projects under senior designers' guidance.
  • Contribute to layout design, typography, and photography decisions.
  • Collaborate with the design team on projects and campaigns.
  • Manage project workload and multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
  • Work closely with internal departments to meet expectations.
  • Design and execute various marketing materials from layout to final production.
  • Stay current with creative design trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in visual communication design, graphic design, digital design, or related field.
  • 1-4 years of professional design experience depending on the level.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects.
  • Basic understanding of print and web design principles.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with strong time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
