About the position

The Graphic Designer position at Medical Mutual of Ohio offers a hybrid work environment, allowing employees to work in-office three days a week and remotely for two days. This role is essential in supporting the design team to create visually appealing and effective print and digital designs that align with client needs and company brand standards. The position encompasses various levels, from Graphic Designer I to Sr. Graphic Designer, each with increasing responsibilities and expectations regarding design execution and project management.

Responsibilities

• Support the design team in creating print and digital designs.
• Edit designs and create small elements of larger projects under senior designers' guidance.
• Contribute to layout design, typography, and photography decisions.
• Collaborate with the design team on projects and campaigns.
• Manage project workload and multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines.
• Work closely with internal departments to meet expectations.
• Design and execute various marketing materials from layout to final production.
• Stay current with creative design trends and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in visual communication design, graphic design, digital design, or related field.
• 1-4 years of professional design experience depending on the level.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and projects.
• Basic understanding of print and web design principles.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks with strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Acrobat, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office Suite.
