About the position
We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design and a passion for visual storytelling. This role requires proficiency in various design software and an understanding of both print and digital media. The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visual solutions to support the organization's branding, marketing, and communication goals, all in alignment with the company's policies and creative standards.
Responsibilities
- Develop visual concepts and create designs for print and digital media, including brochures, posters, social media, email campaigns, and websites.
- Create original artwork and illustrations for use in various projects.
- Maintain a digital archive of design files, ensuring easy access and version control.
- Ensure all designs adhere to accessibility standards and are optimized for user experience.
- Present concepts and designs to stakeholders for approval and provide guidance on design best practices.
- Design recruitment materials for clinical trial participants, including brochures, posters, and digital ads, while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Create educational info-graphics and visual aids to help participants understand clinical trial protocols and outcomes.
- Maintain a library of clinical research branding assets, ensuring accessibility and consistency across teams.
- Provide creative direction for video content explaining study procedures or featuring testimonials from past trial participants.
- Design and manage content for internal and external newsletters focusing on clinical trial updates and breakthroughs.
- Create visually compelling content for social media platforms to promote clinical trials and organizational achievements.
- Develop and manage templates for recurring social media posts, such as participant testimonials, recruitment updates, and research milestones.
- Monitor social media trends and design engaging visual content that leverages current styles and formats.
- Design and optimize graphics for various social media platforms, ensuring visual content is platform-specific.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and refine designs to improve effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience in graphic design.
- High proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout design.
- Proven experience managing design projects from concept to completion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well in a team environment.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of video editing and animation tools.
- Familiarity with branding principles and digital marketing strategies.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
