About the position

The Graphic Designer will be an integral part of the Marketing Department at BF&S Civil Engineers, responsible for creating high-quality graphics for various marketing materials, proposals, and presentations. This role requires collaboration with technical and sales teams to gather content and execute design work within tight deadlines, ensuring effective communication through visually engaging designs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal professionals to create high-quality technical graphics for proposals, project interviews, public presentations, and marketing materials.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and expectations are met.
• Design layouts for print and web including logos, websites, brochures, direct mail, advertisements, posters, video graphics, and exhibitor booths.
• Assist with video production and external/internal communications as needed.

Requirements

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail in design, grammar, and proofreading.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate on design concepts that align with business needs.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to teach others.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with CAD is preferred but not required.
• Experience with video editing and photography is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with the AEC Industry is preferred but not required.
