About the position

We are seeking a Graphic Designer to create visual content that effectively communicates messages within the Gore brand. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure brand consistency and preparing designs for both print and digital media. The position allows for hybrid remote work arrangements based on responsibilities and business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Develop creative visual assets for various purposes, including marketing materials, social media posts, presentations, iconography, and more.
  • Collaborate with Functional Marketing partners to brainstorm and conceptualize design ideas that align with project goals and brand objectives.
  • Enhance and manipulate images to fit design requirements, maintaining a high level of visual quality.
  • Create layouts for print and digital channels, ensuring a cohesive and visually pleasing arrangement of elements, incorporating feedback to meet business objectives.
  • Ensure designs adhere to established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in style and tone.
  • Collaborate with regional design partners to develop a wide range of materials including web pages, presentations, social media, web banners, Congress/Event materials, internal communications, newsletters, and marketing materials.
  • Organize and manage design files, ensuring accessibility and efficient storage within project management software.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and share insights with other Functional Marketing partners.
  • Create visual aids and presentations that effectively communicate information in the Gore brand.
  • Collaborate with the Art Director and/or Creative Director to translate strategic direction into high-quality design.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' experience with extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and working knowledge of HTML 5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
  • Experience in typographic, brand identity, web and digital formats, information and interactive design.
  • Exhibit strategic and creative thinking, creative problem solving, and an innate ability to balance design aesthetics with functional objectives.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, layout, and composition.
  • Experience in both print and digital design.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Passion for staying up to date with design trends and industry advancements.
  • Demonstrated ability to create compelling visual assets that create a unified look.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Active knowledge of ADA requirements/European Accessibility Act in digital assets.
