About the position

The Graphic Designer at San Manuel Band of Mission Indians is responsible for the creative development of designs, layouts, and templates for various marketing materials. This role involves working on print and digital presentations for the brand, including San Manuel, Yaamava' Resort & Casino, and Palms Casino Resort. The designer will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure adherence to brand guidelines and production deadlines while creating visually captivating content.

Responsibilities

• Update or design and output various collateral materials and projects as assigned to meet enterprise and production deadlines.
• Create visual concepts, designs, templates, and layouts using Adobe CC to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate consumers and enterprise-wide stakeholders.
• Create, submit, and upload projects and final deliverables ensuring adherence to established procedures and brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with other areas of marketing, copywriting, digital and video, and production departments on concepts and various creative development and presentations.
• Collaborate on photo/video shoots on and off property, supporting company events on and offsite through either hands-on assistance or project deliverables.
• Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, ensuring adherence to file management protocols.
• Maintain and update all enterprise marketing materials, including traditional print design, web, social media, mobile applications, email, online advertisements, and other deliverables as needed.
• Meet company standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Fine Art or related field required.
• Minimum two (2) years design experience in marketing and communications industry with one year focus on graphic work required.
• Advanced knowledge of Macintosh computers and industry software including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and other Adobe Creative Cloud applications required.

Nice-to-haves

• Motion graphics knowledge (After Effects and 3D programs) preferred.
