About the position

The Graphic Designer position at the Fulton County Sheriff's Office involves creating and producing art, graphics, and publications for the department. The designer will be responsible for designing marketing materials, producing audio/visual content, maintaining inventories, and processing documentation related to departmental operations.

Responsibilities

• Design a variety of marketing and promotional materials and publications, including brochures, fliers, booklets, newsletters, posters, and reports.
• Create charts and graphs for reports and publications, interpreting raw data and generating infographics.
• Produce audio/visual materials, including photography and video for marketing purposes, and maintain a photo database.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for work activities and communicating with vendors.
• Process documentation associated with department operations, including preparing reports and maintaining records.
• Operate various equipment and software to complete work assignments, including video cameras, digital cameras, and desktop publishing software.
• Communicate with County officials and other stakeholders to coordinate work activities and resolve issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Arts or a related field.
• One year of experience in graphic arts, design, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency in performing essential functions and applying departmental policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves
