About the position

The Graphic Designer position at the Space Needle & Chihuly Garden and Glass involves creating compelling content and improving guest experiences through intentional design. The role requires a creative thinker who can produce quality deliverables across various markets and digital channels, while also managing design requests and collaborating with the marketing team to translate strategies into effective campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Produce day-to-day graphic design for organizational deliverables.
• Keep the on-site experience fresh and relevant through signage, digital assets, menus, and email marketing.
• Work on new projects including seasonal campaigns and executive/shareholder projects.
• Manage design requests using project management software and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Coordinate production of company collateral with external vendors.
• Participate in the Brand Committee to develop and advocate for brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the Marketing and PR team to create campaigns that promote brand identity.
• Plan and coordinate photography for major campaigns.
• Conceptualize and develop branded experiences that connect emotionally with visitors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of professional marketing/advertising experience preferred.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and After Effects.
• Strong project management skills using online tools like ClickUp.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 35 pounds.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of photography, including storyboarding and art direction.
• Experience in hospitality and customer service.
