As a Graphic Designer at Apple Rock Displays, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality design for tradeshow exhibits and events, specifically for setups that are 20x20 and smaller, as well as events with fewer than 50 exhibitors. Your primary responsibility will be to create visually appealing and effective designs that align with the client's branding and project goals. This includes designing layouts, fixtures, and signage that not only meet aesthetic standards but also function effectively within the constraints of the event space. In addition to design work, you will be tasked with assembling project presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint. These presentations will include images of the concept designs, material callouts, dimensions of the exhibit elements, floorplan views, and general show information. Your ability to communicate design concepts clearly and effectively will be essential in this role. You will also engage with sales teams, account services, and clients to fully understand their visions, goals, and expectations for each project. This involves discussing project objectives, desired outcomes, branding guidelines, budget constraints, and any specific requirements or preferences the client may have. Your organizational skills will be put to the test as you compile project files from various sources, ensuring they are accessible and available for future reference. Moreover, you will be responsible for art correction and editing, which includes sizing artwork to fit Apple Rock frames or custom structures, checking for quality, and ensuring consistency across pieces. Identifying errors in art, such as color discrepancies, resolution issues, and layout problems, will be critical to ensuring a smooth transition of project files to other departments.
