About the position

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for a short-term contract position in Columbus, Ohio. The role involves collaborating with the sales team to create design deliverables that align with the company's brand strategies, ensuring timely completion of proposals and interview decks. The designer will also update databases related to collateral and manage various design projects using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the sales team to create deliverables, ensuring they align with the company's brand awareness strategies.
• Meet strict deadlines for proposals and interview decks.
• Assist with the design and layout of various materials such as brochures, proposals, and interview decks using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Frequently update databases and processes related to collateral, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
• Collaborate with another marketing specialist and other leaders within the team to ensure the smooth operation of design-related tasks.
• Be responsible for the creation of long-form submittals (30 pages) using various templates.
• Work on the layout of design work using Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist with the management of different projects, ensuring they are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to provide updates on projects and collaborate on design ideas.
• Ensure all design work aligns with the company's brand and marketing strategies.

Requirements

• Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design or a related field
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
• Demonstrable experience in creating brochures and other marketing materials
• Strong understanding of brand awareness and its importance in design
• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are vital
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for aesthetics
• Capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and proficiency in various graphic design works.
