About the position

The Graphic Designer at Roosevelt University is responsible for creating and implementing designs that align with the recently re-imagined Auditorium Brand Guidelines. This role involves collaborating with various internal departments to produce marketing materials and collateral that effectively communicate the brand's messaging and storytelling. The designer will manage projects from conception to execution, ensuring that all designs meet organizational standards and deadlines while staying updated on design and marketing trends.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the innovative conception, design execution, and production of marketing materials and collateral across The Auditorium Brand.
  • Collaborate, brainstorm, and strategize alongside all internal departments to help execute multichannel marketing and The Auditorium campaigns.
  • Use feedback from leadership to ensure designs meet organizational standards and brand expectations.
  • Uphold and expand the company's Brand style guidelines, ensuring visual brand alignment across all projects.
  • Responsible for meeting all deadlines, project strategy timelines, and prioritizing workload.
  • Stay updated on design and marketing trends, providing informed recommendations to keep the Brand fresh and relevant.
  • Assist with event and presentation support, providing design assets and working with external vendors as needed.
  • Take ownership of design concepts from start to finish, with the freedom to innovate and lead projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience working for a company or agency.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, Illustrator).
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing clean, functional designs and knowledge of digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with project management concepts and tools, specifically Asana.
  • Excellent visual sense for high-quality creative concepts and proven ability to execute.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and creative thinking skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Video, animation, and motion graphics editing experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the entertainment industry.
