About the position

The Graphic Designer will assist with the design and maintenance of corporate communications artwork and related collateral in support of client products and services. This role focuses on ensuring consistent branding strategies that align with the client's strategic goals, applying fundamental design knowledge to solve moderately complex design problems, and ensuring a great user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute designs layouts and visual branding in support of products and services.
  • Participate in strategic/conceptual development meetings with clients to determine project requirements, objectives and creative direction.
  • Work closely with clients as a Trusted Advisor to develop materials that meet/exceed their needs and expectations while complying with branding and industry standards.
  • Serve as a creative resource on design and branding standards, vendor selection, and production methods and timelines.
  • Monitor assigned projects to ensure that goals and objectives are completed according to schedule; collaborate with project teams to ensure all business needs are met.
  • Maintain consistency of designs, ensure version controls and latest designs are published, and maintain content manager and other storage systems.
  • Incorporate and leverage best industry practices while maintaining alignment with the client's goals and capabilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to compile, organize and present information clearly and concisely.
  • Experience in using design programs, creating print and online collateral.
  • Working knowledge of design principles, design development standards, techniques and methodologies.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in working and participating in cross-functional, multi-dimensional teams and projects.
  • Experience in managing multiple priorities independently and/or in a team environment to achieve goals.
  • Associates' degree in graphic design or a related field or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

Nice-to-haves

  • Desired - Experience with mainstream InDesign desktop publishing programs, Adobe Experience Manager and other Adobe Creative Suite programs.
