About the position

The Graphic Designer at Church of the King is responsible for enhancing the church's visual branding through the creation of various digital and print materials. This role involves designing logos, brochures, promotional items, and more, while ensuring the integrity of the COTK brand is maintained across all projects. The designer will also engage with vendors, manage multiple projects, and contribute creatively to the church's mission.

Responsibilities

• Graphic design for Church of the King events, promotions, departments, conferences, and events
• Understand and support the Church of the King brand through all design projects
• Connect with vendors on details of printing projects
• Stay current on creative industry updates and products
• Bring fresh inspiration and ideas to design projects
• Manage projects, organize tasks, and prioritize workload
• Communicate with Creative teams and other team members
• Assist in reviewing quality of content to ensure alignment with brand standards
• Be available for rare emergency work during non-business hours
• Engage actively in ministry at Church of the King by attending church and leading small groups
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years as a creative professional with a portfolio of work
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects)
• Experience designing for clients and balancing client needs with quality design
• General knowledge of the design industry with awareness of current trends and techniques
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Ability to collaborate as a team player and discuss needs, challenges, and ideas
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail
• Great time management skills and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
