About the position

We are looking for a Graphic Designer to design creative projects such as brochures, web pages, advertisements, and other communicational materials. This role is looking for a motivated self-starter who is passionate about the development, design, and production of our marketing materials. They will be responsible for managing the pre and post-production for print and web-based projects/advertisements and possess a great sense of direction as well as great attention to detail. The Graphic Designer will create visually compelling designs for a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, banners, advertisements, social media graphics, and website content, ensuring consistency with the company's brand identity. They will work closely with the marketing and content teams to understand project requirements, brainstorm ideas, research necessary information and materials, and develop creative concepts that align with campaign objectives, while also being capable of creating solo projects. Additionally, the designer will maintain and enhance the company's brand visual identity across all design projects, ensuring a cohesive and professional look. They will develop and edit multimedia content, such as videos and animations, for use in digital marketing campaigns and presentations. Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and software is essential to continuously improve the quality and creativity of design outputs. The designer will manage the design process from concept to completion, including revisions and final approvals, ensuring smooth cooperation with outside printing/publishing agencies and that all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards. They will also create and refine visual concepts by designing rough layouts for art and copy before obtaining feedback from project supervisors for final approval, and prepare final artwork using typesetting/printing equipment, managing the production process, including material procurement and layout finalization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Strong graphic design, layout, and analytical skills.
  • Great sense of direction and high attention to detail.
  • Passionate about designing web pages, advertisements, and communication materials.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely (written, oral and presentation skills).
  • Computer proficiency including desktop publishing tools and graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro and After Effects.
  • Photography & videography: product filming and editing.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer programs.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure, and handle rejection.
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects and meet each assigned deadline.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual in Chinese is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in CCTV Video Surveillance industry is highly desired.
