About the position

The Somerville Museum is seeking a Graphic Designer Consultant to create a cohesive visual identity for the museum's 250th marketing materials. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure that all designs align with the museum's identity and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create a consistent 'look and feel' for all of the museum's 250th marketing materials in keeping with Museum identity.
• Collaborate with marketing consultant, Museum staff, and others as needed for content and design development and to meet deadlines.
• Create digital and collateral materials as identified by the Marketing Consultant, including logos, letterhead, banners, brochures, and others.

Requirements

• Familiarity with Somerville and the Somerville Museum.
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Ability to start right away.
• Ability to prioritize and collaborate as needed.
• Track record and portfolio of similar scale projects.

Nice-to-haves

• Understanding of the regional efforts related to the 250 celebrations helpful.
