As a Graphic Designer at TEKsystems, you will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality design for tradeshow exhibits and events, particularly those that are 20x20 and smaller, and for events with fewer than 50 exhibitors. Your primary responsibility will be to create visually appealing and effective designs that align with the client's branding and project objectives. This position requires a blend of creativity, technical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members. In this role, approximately 50% of your time will be dedicated to creating high-quality designs for tradeshow exhibits and events, which includes layout, fixtures, and signage. You will also be responsible for assembling PowerPoint presentations that showcase the concept designs, including material callouts, dimensions, and floorplan views, which will take up about 10% of your workload. Another 25% of your responsibilities will involve creating graphic designs that not only meet but exceed client expectations, ensuring that all designs are free from errors and imperfections. Engagement with sales teams, account services, and clients is essential, making up about 7% of your role. You will need to thoroughly understand their visions, goals, and expectations for the projects, discussing objectives, branding guidelines, budget constraints, and any specific requirements. Additionally, you will compile and organize project files from various teams to ensure accessibility and future reference, which will account for 3% of your duties. Finally, you will be responsible for sizing art to fit specific structures and checking for quality and consistency, which will take up the remaining 5% of your time. This position requires a strong foundation in graphic design principles, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. You will be expected to demonstrate effective communication skills and a positive mental attitude, contributing to a collaborative and innovative work environment.
