About the position

Our client, a global agri-chemical company, is searching for a Graphic Designer to join their team based out of Fresno, CA. The Graphic Designer will play a key role managing and developing engaging and effective marketing materials across all channels. This position requires close collaboration with the regional sales teams to ensure that market-specific needs are met, leveraging design expertise to create a visually compelling brand experience. The role is essential in conceptualizing, designing, and laying out all marketing materials, including print collateral, digital assets, and social media content, using creativity and originality in visualizing and executing designs. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating a variety of design elements, such as infographics, icons, and web content, to support marketing initiatives. This position demands a strong understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory, as well as proficiency in a wide range of design software, particularly the Adobe Creative Cloud suite, which includes Acrobat, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. The designer will also exercise discretion and judgment in the design process, contributing unique ideas and solutions to enhance the overall marketing strategy. Additionally, the Graphic Designer will maintain a SharePoint archive to house all communication files, ensuring easy access and organization. The role may also involve entering purchase orders (POs) from invoices for accounting purposes, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Occasional travel to trade shows and sales meetings may be required, depending on company needs.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Graphic Designer.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, including layout, typography, and color theory.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud software suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
