About the position

Gulfshore Life Media, LLC is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join their team in Bonita Springs, Florida. The role involves creating visually engaging concepts for both print and digital media, including logos, promotional materials, and branding content. The Graphic Designer will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that the designs effectively communicate the intended message and align with the modern, luxury aesthetic of Gulfshore Life Magazine.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clients, editorial staff, and project participants to understand project assignments and intended messages.
• Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message in an engaging way.
• Chooses appropriate graphics, clip art, and stock photography; may enhance choices with simple drawings.
• Selects fonts for written copy and produces sample layouts for approval.
• Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples for review by editorial or other departments.
• Revises projects based on collaborative feedback.
• Consults with Creative Director, Editor-in-Chief, and Publisher on complex projects.
• Prepares print orders and assembly instructions upon final approval.
• Maintains records of billable project time as required.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines.
• At least three years of related work experience in graphic design.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with editorial and multi-page print projects such as magazines, catalogs, or annual reports.
