About the position

The Graphic Designer at Las Vegas Lights FC is responsible for creating all graphic assets for the club and elevating the brand through a world-class visual presence on all digital and physical touchpoints. This role is crucial in building the club's visual identity to amplify its vision and inspire fans and the community.

Responsibilities

  • Help create, maintain, and protect the club's visual brand identity across all digital and physical channels.
  • Continually push creative boundaries and innovate to uniquely communicate the club's vision through design.
  • Regularly collaborate with Ticketing, Communications, Partnership, Marketing, and Creative staff to deliver design assets that fulfill objectives for respective departments.
  • Establish, contribute, and adhere to a collaborative graphic design project calendar.
  • Lead the creation of all graphic design needs including all club templates, milestone graphics, schedule assets, matchday posters, in-stadium LEDs, merch, flyers, brochures, packaging, presentations, event materials, and more.
  • Work with photo & video staff to execute dynamic creative assets on a regular basis.
  • Use design to foster growth in followers and engagement on the club's digital channels.
  • Collaborate with Social Media and Communications staff to conduct data analysis of social, website, & digital performance to provide actionable insights and support decision-making.
  • Competency in motion graphic design using Adobe After Effects or similar is preferred.
  • Assist with media day and creative event planning and execution.
  • Ensure all projects are completed by designated timelines and error-free in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop and maintain good, professional relationships with colleagues, players, & sporting staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1-2 years of professional experience in a similar graphic design role.
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Competency in Adobe After Effects and Premiere.
  • Must be willing to travel, including on occasion internationally.
  • Must be flexible and available to work evenings and/or weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Applicants must provide/include a link to website portfolio or pdf of design work.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bilingual or multilingual skills.
  • 4-year Bachelor's degree in preferably digital and/or graphic design, communications, and or related fields.
  • Experience working in the soccer, sports, and/or entertainment industry.
  • Proficiency with office communication & project management software (i.e. Asana, Slack).

Benefits

  • Base pay range: $43K - $59K per year.
