About the position

The Graphic Designer position is a 12-month contract assignment based in Orlando, FL, focused on supporting the Marketing and New Products department. The role involves assisting in the conceptualization, production, and implementation of design and marketing solutions from initial concept to final execution. The designer will work on various internal and external promotional materials, ensuring that the visual elements align with the client's branding and marketing strategies. Key tasks include designing layouts, generating assets, proofing designs, supervising production processes, and assisting in the implementation of a digital asset management tool. The designer will collaborate with other team members to create concepts, comps, layouts, and final artwork, contributing to a cohesive marketing strategy. This position requires a minimum of three months of experience in the creative or marketing field, specifically in designing and producing digital files, photo editing, and providing creative solutions that meet project requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with conceptualizing design and marketing solutions for promotional materials.
  • Produce and implement designs from concept to completion.
  • Design layouts and generate assets for internal and external use.
  • Proof designs and supervise production processes.
  • Assist in the implementation of a digital asset management tool.
  • Collaborate with other designers to create concepts, comps, layouts, and final art.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Art, Advertising, Marketing, or related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of three months of experience in the creative/marketing field designing and producing digital files.
  • Experience in photo editing and providing creative solutions.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud products (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, etc.).
  • Understanding of data validation and management for mailings.
  • Familiarity with tracking In-Kind Sponsorship projects, including awareness of deadlines, costs, and delivery.
  • Experience with the Mail Merge process for letter creation.
