Velas Hispaniola is seeking a talented, mid-level Graphic Designer to join our creative team in Charleston, SC. The role involves collaborating with the design team to create visually compelling designs for packaging, print, and digital channels that align with the brand identity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both print and digital design, particularly within the consumer goods category, and will manage multiple design projects while ensuring quality and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team and manager to develop and refine packaging designs and marketing collateral.
• Translate strategic input and brand direction into high-quality, original designs for print and digital applications.
• Prepare print-ready files to meet quality standards for color accuracy, layout precision, and resolution consistency.
• Design and format engaging PowerPoint presentations for various uses, adhering to brand style.
• Organize and maintain design libraries and assets to keep projects streamlined and accessible.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably in consumer goods.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating skills in layout, typography, and digital design.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Sharp attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
