About the position

The Graphic Designer at MAGNA WAVE Inc. will utilize their art, design, and copy layout skills to create visually engaging concepts for various media, including logos, promotional materials, and digital content. This role involves collaboration with clients and team members to ensure that the designs effectively communicate the intended message and resonate with the target audience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with clients and project participants to understand project assignments and audience.
• Creates original visual media that communicates the desired feeling or message.
• Chooses appropriate graphics, clip art, and stock photography; enhances choices with simple drawings.
• Selects fonts for written copy and produces sample layouts for client approval.
• Prepares drafts of design work and provides samples for review.
• Revises projects based on collaborative feedback.
• Consults with graphics manager and art director on complex projects.
• Prepares print orders and assembly instructions upon final approval.
• Maintains records of billable project time.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines preferred.
• At least three years of related work experience preferred.
