About the position

NBCUniversal is seeking a talented Graphic Artist to design both still and animated graphics for various media, including television. The role requires creativity, efficiency, and a keen attention to detail, contributing to all phases of production from concept to final delivery.

Responsibilities

• Create graphics to support editorial content for television.
• Participate in the design and execution of elements ranging from on-air still graphics and special campaigns to show opens and animated packages.
• Work cooperatively with Directors, Producers, Art Directors, and Writers in creating graphics.
• Perform any associated duties that may be assigned in relation to the completion of a project.
• Contribute to every phase of production, from concept development and storyboards to final renderings for delivery.
• Deliver multiple broadcast quality graphics within extreme daily deadlines.

Requirements

• Degree in graphic design or related field.
• Minimum two-year industry experience.
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects).
• Understanding of broadcast production.
• Exceptional sense of design and typography.
• Must have online reel.

Nice-to-haves

• Minimum 2 years experience working at a network or broadcast design agency.
• Knowledge of Cinema 4D or other 3D package a plus.
• Willingness to work long hours and on weekends.
