About the position

We are seeking a Graphic Designer for our team located in Willis, Texas. As a Graphic Designer, you will be in charge of creating digital and print marketing materials for various platforms, including designing illustrations for different types of apparel. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. You will be responsible for ensuring that all marketing materials are not only visually appealing but also align with our brand's identity and messaging. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, and camping, which will help in creating relevant and engaging designs that resonate with our target audience. In this position, you will create and manage a variety of marketing materials, including tech packs for apparel production, promotional materials like email campaigns, and product packaging. You will work closely with the Creative Director to take direction and implement feedback, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and to a high standard. Your role will also involve organizing and managing creative assets to ensure efficiency and ease of access, which is crucial for maintaining brand consistency across all marketing projects. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent time management skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will be expected to use Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other graphic design applications proficiently to produce high-quality materials that adhere to set deadlines. Creativity and problem-solving abilities are essential, as is a keen eye for aesthetics and visual details. A strong portfolio demonstrating your breadth of design skills and abilities will be crucial in showcasing your qualifications for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage digital and print marketing materials
  • Design graphics and illustrations for various types of apparel
  • Create and manage tech packs for apparel production
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all marketing projects
  • Develop creative assets for marketing projects such as website graphics, social media ads, and in-store signage
  • Work closely with the Creative Director to take direction and implement feedback
  • Organize and manage creative assets to ensure efficiency and ease of access
  • Design promotional materials such as email campaigns and product packaging
  • Use Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and other graphic design applications proficiently
  • Ensure all materials produced are high quality and adhere to set deadlines.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Graphic Design or related field
  • Demonstrable proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign
  • Proven ability to create engaging banner ads and brochures
  • Experience in developing and enhancing brand awareness strategies
  • Expertise in designing for social media advertising platforms
  • Familiarity with the athletic apparel industry is a plus
  • Experience in creating and managing email campaigns
  • Strong understanding and application of typography in design
  • Ability to work effectively in a team, as well as independently
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills
  • Creativity and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual details
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, Design, or a related field is preferred
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating breadth of design skills and abilities.
