About the position

The Asian Art Museum is seeking a Graphic Designer to create and produce printed and digital materials that represent the museum's visual communication. This role involves working with various internal clients to develop designs that align with brand guidelines and support the museum's artistic vision and business goals. The Graphic Designer will manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet deadlines and budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, and produce printed and digital materials for visual communication.
• Coordinate and administer the workflow of graphic design projects.
• Generate creative ideas and develop original design concepts in workshops and feedback meetings.
• Provide creative input and expertise for promotional campaigns.
• Produce professional-quality promotional, exhibition, and campaign collateral for print and digital dissemination.
• Work within brand guidelines to ensure all materials meet specifications.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to see projects through from concept to completion.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Three years of related experience in graphic design and production, or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong understanding of design principles, techniques, and technologies.
• Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite and familiarity with Macintosh platform.
• Ability to internalize a brand and translate it into materials with attention to detail.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
