About the position

We are seeking a skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Ad-Wear & Specialty of Texas. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of experience working in a t-shirt or promotional products company. This role requires the ability to separate art from non-vectored art, produce registered film, and coordinate production with the factory. The Graphic Designer will also have direct communication with our customers, ensuring that their needs and expectations are met. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred, as it will facilitate better communication with our diverse clientele. The work environment is fast-paced, and the candidate must be able to work independently while also being a part of a team. The position is full-time, with expected hours of 40 per week, and the pay ranges from $17.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills.

Responsibilities

• Separate art from non-vectored art for production purposes.
• Produce registered film for printing processes.
• Coordinate production with the factory to ensure timely delivery of products.
• Communicate directly with customers to understand their design needs and provide solutions.
• Work independently while collaborating with team members in a busy environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of graphic design experience, preferably in a t-shirt or promotional products company.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, for at least 2 years.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred to facilitate communication with customers.
• Ability to commute to Houston, TX 77063, and willingness to relocate if necessary.
