About the position

The Graphic Designer at Excell Marketing, L.C. plays a crucial role in the creation of packaging designs for various products and supports marketing communication activities. This position involves collaboration with vendors and suppliers to ensure that all graphic elements meet the required standards and approvals. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing packaging for retail sales, creating layouts and copy for marketing brochures, and developing sales presentations in both print and digital formats. Additionally, the role includes designing point-of-purchase signage and displays that align with retailer requirements, ensuring that all designs maintain quality and consistency. In this role, the Graphic Designer will work closely with the Graphic Design Manager and Marketing Manager to deliver final artwork to production vendors, overseeing projects through the production phase. The position also requires the creation and design of new products for retail sale, which involves a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of design principles. The Graphic Designer will also be tasked with updating and maintaining websites, as well as communicating with promotional participants and online customers in a customer service capacity. This includes managing the corporate website and social media presence, ensuring that all digital platforms are current and engaging. The job is dynamic and may require the Graphic Designer to assist in other work-related areas as needed, including product photography and photo editing. The role demands a high level of creativity, innovation, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple projects simultaneously. The Graphic Designer must be adaptable, able to switch between tasks efficiently, and responsive to the needs of the team and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Design packaging for retail sales.
  • Create layout and copy for various marketing brochures and sales presentations in print and digital media.
  • Design point-of-purchase signage and displays coordinating with retailer requirements.
  • Work with industry manufacturers to secure required graphic elements and gain written art approval from licensees.
  • Collaborate with Graphic Design Manager & Marketing Manager to deliver final art to production vendors and oversee projects through the production phase.
  • Create and design new products for retail sale.
  • Update and maintain websites and corporate social media presence.
  • Communicate with promotional participants and online customers in a customer service capacity.
  • Assist in product photography and photo editing.

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated understanding of typography, layout, color, and user experience.
