About the position

The Graphic Designer is accountable for delivering effective, aesthetic, on-brand, and on-strategy creative designs for a variety of projects and channels. This role involves graphic creation, page layout, and file preparation for both digital and print use, which includes signage, presentations, direct mail, social media posts, emails, websites, landing pages, logos, and other projects. The designer will actively participate in Seasonal Brand Concepting and other creative brainstorming activities to ensure that the brand and creative are consistent across all channels and customer touchpoints. In addition to design work, the Graphic Designer will be responsible for translating product positioning, existing research, and offline/online marketing strategies into effective designs. This includes sourcing, quoting, and designing projects from concept to production where applicable. The role may also require periodic travel to stores to test store displays and assist with visual programs, as well as travel for photo shoots or other creative development needs.

Responsibilities

  • Graphic creation, page layout, and file preparation for digital and print use including signage, presentations, direct mail, social media posts, emails, website, landing pages, logos and other projects.
  • Active participation in Seasonal Brand Concepting and other creative brainstorming activities.
  • Ensure consistency of brand and creative across all channels/customer touch points.
  • Translate product positioning, existing research, and offline/online Marketing strategies into effective designs.
  • Source, quote and design projects from concept to production where applicable.
  • Periodic travel to stores to test store displays and assist with visual programs.
  • Periodic travel for photo shoots or creative development needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, graphic communications or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years successful professional design experience in an advertising agency or in-house design studio environment, retail design experience a plus.
  • Prepress and production know-how.
  • Experience with production of large-scale graphics, in-store marketing, promotional, and packaging.
  • Experience in web marketing/web design with a strong knowledge of Photoshop, web design and development fundamentals.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with HTML, Premiere, After Effects, Sketch, 3D Rendering, Workfront a plus.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • Knowledgeable in UX and responsive design a plus.
