About the position

As a Graphic Designer at Agua Caliente Casino, you will be responsible for producing art and layouts for both print and electronic media. This role involves reformatting and sizing ad versions, preparing materials for printing, and specifying type. You will design and layout various collateral materials including rack cards, flyers, business cards, website graphics, social media graphics, advertisements, e-blasts, and other communication materials, ensuring that all outputs meet specified requirements. In addition to design work, you will manage art and photos, applying your knowledge of industry-standard production techniques. You will develop graphics for television, print, and outdoor promotional offers, as well as marketing programs. Collaboration is key in this role, as you will interact with the Public Relations Director to ensure that the final graphic products align with expectations. Staying current with graphics software options and capabilities is essential, as is being a team player who can work effectively in a collaborative environment. Compliance with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Tribal Regulations is mandatory. This position requires a strong educational background and relevant experience, as well as excellent communication skills and a solid understanding of graphic design software. You will need to maintain the established brand identity and replicate existing collateral when necessary, selecting appropriate colors, images, text styles, and layouts to accurately represent the brand. Proofreading and reviewing designs for errors is also a critical part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and layout collateral including rack cards, flyers, business cards, website graphics, social media graphics, ads, e-blasts, and various communications materials.
• Manage art and photos with knowledge of the industry's final production techniques.
• Develop graphics for TV, print, outdoor promotional offers, and marketing programs.
• Interact with the Public Relations Director to ensure final graphic product meets expectations.
• Maintain current working knowledge of graphics software options and capabilities.
• Work collaboratively in a team environment and comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures and Tribal Regulations.
• Select colors, images, text style, and layout to represent the brand accurately.
• Review designs and proofread for errors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred; minimum of an Associate's degree (AA) in a related field or equivalent from a technical school.
• 4 years of experience with layout and design of marketing collateral.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficient in Macintosh hardware and graphic software, specifically InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Microsoft Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.
