About the position

We are seeking a graphic designer to join our team at Jamestown Management Corporation. In this role, you will collaborate with the Marketing and Development teams to create environmental graphics, marketing graphics, and wayfinding projects that contribute to the vibrant atmosphere of Industry City, one of Brooklyn's most innovative locations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow IC's status as a colorful, fun, and innovative community
• Ensure all print and environmental graphics conform to IC brand standards
• Design and maintain Industry City wayfinding system throughout campus, including printed maps, blade signs, directories, and other directional signage
• Design environmental graphics for marketing, lease marketing, and retail initiatives
• Coordinate with vendors on multiple projects to ensure they meet the targeted timeline, budget, and quality standards
• Create mock-ups and renderings of signage, storefront, and other environmental graphics for visualization and approvals
• Design signage, interior graphics, and storefront strategies for new retail tenants/spaces
• Maintain library of existing brand standards

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a design-related or creative field of study
• 2+ years professional experience in related fields
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite
• Working knowledge of current hospitality and retail environments and brand trends
• Passion for tracking design trends in hospitality, retail, environmental design branding and activation
