About the position

The Graphic Designer for Telemundo is responsible for creating and animating design assets and campaign packages for Telemundo Marketing & Creative Strategy. This role involves collaborating with various teams to produce on-air graphics, animated packages, and other marketing materials, ensuring high-quality output throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Design, produce and participate in the design and execution of elements ranging from on-air still graphics to animated packages.
  • Work cooperatively with Designers, Producers, Editors, and Creative Directors in creating campaign graphics.
  • Contribute to every phase of production, from concept development and storyboards to final renderings and delivery.
  • Collaboratively build the bridge between Key Art, Motion Design, and social media to create effective campaigns.
  • Participate in brainstorms, design ideations, pitches, and executions for creative activations.
  • Collaborate with external creative agencies, freelance designers, animators, and other vendors.
  • Work with project management/producers to identify project needs and timing to meet deadlines.
  • Manage retouching, rendering, and delivery of elements, toolkits, and style guides with in-house team and outside vendors.
  • Promote excellence through effective detail-oriented quality control.
  • Complete any other tasks as assigned by the Design Manager.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience working at a network or broadcast design agency.
  • Strong skills in animation and design, demonstrating creativity.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in both motion design and key art concepting and development.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects).
  • Understanding of the implementation of design elements across 360-degree marketing campaigns.
  • Exceptional sense of layout and typography.
